Favre is Finished

I was sad when Troy Aikman retired - but I knew with the twelve or so concussions it was the right thing. Still, it took some getting used to when the next season started.

Favre was a great quarterback, a good man. He seems to be one of those "old school" athletes which we see so few of these days, who plays purely for love of the game.

Shocked to see him retire. They were so close to the super bowl I was sure he would give it one more go round. As a Seahawks fan I think it improves our chances of returning to the Super Bowl. For what it is worth, I say there is a slight chance, say 10%, he changes his mind.
