That toad is U.G.L.Y!
We have toads that look like that in QLD Australia, called Cane toads. They are an intruduced species, and like everything else introduced, not much thought went into it.
Cane toads have no natural preditors here, and they are VERY poisonous! Even when they are dead [if a dog eats the body, it'll probably die]. They get into gardens and dig everything out because they like to sit in the cool roots.
I hate the things! Let me tell you a story that involves a gulf club... no i better not! lol

all those bumps and knobs in the large picture!! stand out. This critter needs some major skin lotion. ;0>
