The congregation I serve is in the process of putting together a worship space task force to look at a few things like:
1.) The installation & implementation of AV equipment (video projector, computer, along with capability to digitally record sermons.)
2.) The use of current furnishings (the pulpit, choir chairs, piano, pews, that table in the back that everyone calls an altar, etc.)
3.) Ways to make our worship space and experiences more inviting to visitors, children, and of course our current members.
I’m wondering if your congregation has gone through a similar process, but what I am really looking for are some good resources to put into the hands of task force members to help them begin to think through some of the issues we will need to consider regarding our space and its use.
What resources might you recommend?
